Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Billing & Estimation Engineer to handle project estimation, quantity take-offs, preparation of client and subcontractor bills, cost analysis, and project documentation. The candidate will work closely with project, procurement, accounts, and site teams to ensure accurate billing and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed estimates and quantity take-offs based on drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site requirements.
- Prepare rate analysis and cost estimates for civil construction works.
- Prepare client running account (RA) bills and final bills.
- Verify subcontractor and vendor bills against actual work completed.
- Measure quantities at site and verify work executed by contractors.
- Prepare and maintain BOQs, measurement sheets, and billing documents.
- Compare actual quantities and costs with approved BOQs and estimates.
- Identify variations, additional works, and deviations from the approved scope.
- Prepare variation statements and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, procurement, and accounts teams.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify quantities and material requirements.
- Maintain records of work measurements, bills, approvals, and project costs.
- Assist in project cost monitoring and budget control.
- Prepare monthly billing and cost reports for management.
- Check material consumption and wastage against project requirements.
- Support tendering activities by preparing estimates,



quotations, and commercial documents.
- Ensure billing is completed accurately and within project timelines.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in billing, estimation, quantity surveying, or civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and measurement practices.
- Good understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, RA bills, and quantity take-offs.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of billing and estimation software will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to visit construction/project sites as required.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale civil construction projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
