WeVOIS is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Intern to support our Business Development and Tender teams in identifying new business opportunities across our solid waste management, clean-tech, and government/ULB projects. The intern will assist with market research, tender analysis, documentation, opportunity tracking, and preparation of business proposals and reports. This role offers an opportunity to gain practical exposure to government tenders, e-procurement, business research, and end-to-end business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market and business opportunity research.
Research government, ULB, and private-sector tenders relevant to WeVOIS.
Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, and basic requirements.
Assist in preparing and maintaining tender-related documentation.
Support the team in identifying and tracking potential business opportunities.
Prepare reports, presentations, and business-related documents.
Maintain accurate records of tenders, leads, and business opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams to collect required information and documents.
Perform basic data analysis and prepare insights for the BD team.
Support day-to-day documentation and MS Office-related activities.
Requirements
Graduate in any discipline.
Good knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong research and documentation skills.
Basic understanding of tenders/e-tendering is an advantage.
Analytical and detail-oriented approach.
Valuable learning ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
