Role Description The Commis I Bakery and Pastry role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. In this role, the team member supports daily bakery and pastry production, including measuring ingredients, preparing doughs and batters, baking, and assembling desserts according to recipes and standards.

Responsibilities include assisting in menu preparation, maintaining product consistency, ensuring proper food handling, and following hygiene and safety procedures. The role also involves organizing the workstation, managing inventory of baking supplies, and coordinating with senior chefs to execute orders efficiently. The Commis I participates in regular cleaning tasks, helps reduce wastage, and contributes ideas to improve processes and product quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational bakery and pastry skills, including basic dough preparation, dessert assembly, and familiarity with standard baking techniques.
- Candidates should possess robust kitchen operations skills,



including time management, organization, and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Candidates should possess food safety and hygiene knowledge, including proper storage, handling, and cleanliness practices in a commercial kitchen.
- Candidates should possess effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant qualification from a culinary or hospitality institute, especially with a focus on bakery and pastry, is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a professional bakery, patisserie, hotel, or restaurant kitchen is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, stand for extended periods, and handle physically demanding kitchen tasks.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in bakery and pastry craft.
