About The Role

We’re looking for a Hybrid Backend & Data Infrastructure Engineer to build robust, scalable. backend services and design the data infrastructure that powers our product and insights.



You’ll straddle the line between software engineering and data engineering—designing APIs and microservices while building orchestration layers and stateful systems that are production-ready. You should be highly skilled in modern Python-based ecosystems, comfortable working across cloud-native infrastructure, and passionate about developer experience, performance, and data quality.

What You'll Do

- Design and build scalable, maintainable backend services and APIs using Python

(FastAPI, AWS Bedrock et al)
- Develop and maintain job orchestration pipelines and data workflows for streaming and batch processing
- Design and implement datastore schemas and manage analytics-ready data models
- Collaborate with engineers to define data contracts and service interfaces
- Establish and own infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD processes
- Drive observability, monitoring, and reliability practices across services and pipelines
- Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and compliance standards are met
- Evaluate and introduce best-in-class tools across the stack—backend, data processing, and infra
