We focus on high-engagement content experiences — and design plays a central role in how users discover, watch, and stay.Until now, we’ve worked with an external agency. We’re now building an in-house design team to move faster, think deeper, and shape a stronger product identity with dynamic interface.

The RoleWe are looking for an execution-driven Backend Engineer to build and scale the core infrastructure powering the Alright TV ecosystem. You will work on high-throughput systems, optimize APIs for performance, and ensure backend reliability for a consumer-facing micro-drama platform.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable backend services using Node.jsDesign clean, efficient, and high-performance REST APIsOptimize systems for low latency, high concurrency, and reliabilityImplement caching strategies (Redis / in-memory) to improve performanceDesign and manage MongoDB schemas, queries, and indexing strategiesMonitor, debug,



and resolve production issues proactivelyEnsure high availability and system stability during peak trafficCollaborate with frontend, product, and data teams for seamless integrationComplete ownership of the backend and related systems including design, development, deployment, performance and lifecycle management

Technical Requirements3–6 years of backend development experience (consumer apps preferred)Robust proficiency in Node.js and API designHands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, optimization)Experience with caching systems like RedisUnderstanding of system design fundamentals (HLD/LLD)Experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code/Cursor/Copilot
