VS Studio is a luxury photography studio based in New Alipore, Kolkata, known for creating elegant, artistic and emotionally rich visual stories. We are looking for a talented Baby Photographer to join our creative team and specialise in capturing beautiful, natural and timeless moments of newborns, babies and young children.

Role Overview

We are looking for a good photographer with proven professional experience in newborn and baby photography. The ideal candidate should have a natural ability to work patiently and comfortably with babies and children, understand their moods and expressions, and create aesthetically refined photographs that reflect a luxury photography standard.

Experience specifically in baby/newborn photography is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct professional photography sessions for newborns, babies and young children.

Create natural, creative and aesthetically appealing images while maintaining a premium photography standard.

Handle babies patiently and sensitively during photography sessions.

Work with parents and families to understand their requirements and deliver a comfortable, personalised experience.

Plan and execute indoor studio as well as on-location baby/family shoots.

Work with professional cameras, lenses, lighting and other photography equipment.

Understand lighting, composition, posing and visual storytelling specifically for baby photography.

Assist in developing creative concepts, setups, props and themes for shoots.





Coordinate with the creative team to ensure consistency in the overall visual style.

Travel to client locations whenever required for shoots.

Maintain professional standards while interacting with premium clients and their families.

Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of babies throughout every shoot.

Requirements

2–3+ years of professional experience in newborn/baby photography is mandatory.

Strong portfolio demonstrating previous newborn, baby or child photography work.

Excellent understanding of lighting, composition, posing and camera techniques.

Patient, calm and comfortable around babies and young children.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Should be comfortable working with pets, as some family/baby shoots may involve pets.

Creative eye with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.

Comfortable travelling for client shoots and working on location.

Skilled, presentable and comfortable interacting with premium clientele.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a creative team.

What We’re Looking For

Someone who doesn’t simply take photographs, but understands how to capture emotion, innocence and personality.

The ideal candidate will be patient with babies, confident with parents, creative with concepts and setups, and passionate about producing photographs that feel elegant, warm, natural and timeless.

Compensation upto ₹30,000 per month, depending on experience, portfolio and skill level.
