We are looking for a highly skilled AWS + Terraform Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AWS infrastructure provisioning, GitLab CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.

The ideal candidate should have expert-level Terraform experience, particularly in designing, developing, and provisioning AWS infrastructure using Terraform. Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to monitoring, production support, or Terraform maintenance without hands-on provisioning experience will not be suitable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Terraform configurations/modules for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure.
- Perform hands-on AWS infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, including networking, compute, storage, IAM, security, and other AWS services.
- Develop reusable and scalable Terraform modules following Infrastructure as Code best practices.
- Work extensively with Terraform commands such as init, validate, plan, apply, destroy, state management, variables, outputs, modules, workspaces, and remote backends.
- Manage Terraform state and implement appropriate remote state, locking, and environment management strategies.
- Create and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automated Terraform validation, planning, and infrastructure deployment. GitLab supports CI/CD workflows for AWS deployments and Terraform-based infrastructure pipelines.
- Integrate Terraform workflows with Git, GitLab, branching strategies, merge requests, approvals, and automated deployments.
- Implement DevSecOps practices including security scanning, policy validation,



compliance checks, and infrastructure security controls.
- Work with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Collaborate with cloud/platform teams to design secure, scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot Terraform deployment failures, AWS infrastructure issues, state-related problems, and CI/CD pipeline failures.
- Implement infrastructure changes through controlled Terraform Plan Review Apply workflows.
- Follow AWS security and IAM best practices, including least-privilege access and secure authentication mechanisms.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational processes wherever possible.

Important: We are looking for candidates who have actually provisioned AWS infrastructure using Terraform, not candidates who have only monitored Terraform deployments or performed basic Terraform maintenance.
