Job: AVB/TSN Engineer

Location: Coimbatore/Chennai/Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced AVB (Audio Video Bridging) / TSN (Time-Sensitive Networking) Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and validate real-time Ethernet communication solutions for Automotive, or Embedded Systems applications. The candidate will work on IEEE 802.1 standards, Ethernet protocols, network synchronization, traffic shaping, and time-critical communication systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain AVB/TSN networking solutions.
- Implement and optimize IEEE 802.1 TSN standards including:
- IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP)
- IEEE 802.1Qav (Credit-Based Shaper)
- IEEE 802.1Qbv (Time-Aware Scheduling)
- IEEE 802.1Qbu / 802.3br (Frame Preemption)
- IEEE 1722 (AVTP)
- IEEE 1722.1 (AVDECC)
- Develop and debug Ethernet communication stacks on Classic AutoSAR / Embedded Linux or RTOS platforms.
- Analyze network traffic using tools such as Wireshark, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, or other protocol analyzers.




- Perform integration and validation of AVB/TSN features in automotive ECUs, gateways, switches, and end nodes.
- Work closely with hardware, system, and application teams to ensure deterministic communication performance.
- Conduct performance analysis, latency measurements, synchronization validation, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and customer interactions.

Networking Protocols

- Robust understanding of:
- Ethernet
- TCP/IP, UDP
- VLAN (802.1Q)
- QoS concepts
- Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
- Routing Protocols
- Device driver and networking stack development experience is preferred.

AVB/TSN Technologies

- Experience with AVB or TSN implementations.
- Knowledge of:
- gPTP/PTP synchronization
- Traffic shaping and scheduling
- Deterministic Ethernet communication
- Network timing and synchronization concepts

Embedded Software

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Experience with Classic Autosar, RTOS, Linux
