Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Automic Consultant with proven experience working directly with end customers. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Automic Automation Engine and a strong track record of successfully completing installations, upgrades, migrations, and conversions across diverse enterprise environments.

The role requires a customer-focused technical problem solver who is comfortable travelling or working remotely for clients. You will work directly with client IT teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions, resolve technical challenges, and deliver reliable and optimised automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute Automic product installations, upgrades, migrations, and conversions for enterprise clients.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for end customers throughout project delivery.
- Understand customer requirements and ensure their technical and operational needs are addressed throughout the engagement.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to Automic deployments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering deployment activities, configurations, and post-project support.
- Collaborate with client IT teams to plan and coordinate project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Provide Automic product knowledge, technical guidance, and training to client personnel as required.
- Ensure Automic implementations and transitions are completed with minimal disruption and downtime.

Required Experience:

- Proven experience as a Senior Automic Consultant, Automic Engineer, Automic Administrator, or Automation Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with Automic Automation Engine, including installation, configuration,



administration, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience completing end-to-end Automic installations, upgrades, migrations, and conversions.
- Experience delivering automation projects with minimal business disruption and downtime.
- Experience working directly with end customers in a consulting, implementation, or project-delivery environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise automation, workload automation, batch job scheduling, and enterprise IT environments.
- Experience with third-party integrations supported by Automic.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues relating to Automic deployments and integrations.
- Experience working with databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux and/or Windows server administration.
- Experience preparing technical documentation covering deployment activities, configurations, troubleshooting, and post-project support.
- Experience coordinating project milestones and deliverables with client IT teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience providing product training, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
- Strong communication, analytical, organisational, and stakeholder-management skills.
