Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, API automation, SQL and automation frameworks. The role involves UI/API Automation, database testing, STLC activities, regression testing, defect analysis, and automation framework development. Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Git and GenAI tools like ChatGPT/Claude is preferred.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- Good understanding of STLC and software testing fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience in UI and API automation.
- Strong SQL and database testing skills.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG/JUnit, Maven, Cucumber/BDD is preferred.
- Positive understanding of Git and CI/CD concepts.
- Practical experience using AI/GenAI platforms such as ChatGPT or Claude for software testing and automation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand and contribute across the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Design, develop, maintain,



and execute UI automation scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Develop and execute API automation for REST/SOAP services and validate responses, data, and integrations.
- Perform database testing, including SQL queries, data validation, CRUD operations, joins, and backend data verification.
- Identify suitable candidates for automation and contribute to automation framework development and maintenance.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and support scheduled/regression test execution.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve defects.
- Leverage AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, and similar GenAI tools for test case generation, automation code assistance, test data creation, failure analysis, and productivity improvement.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with QA, development, BA, and other stakeholders.
