Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality software delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts.
- Execute automated and manual test cases for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Perform regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop reusable automation utilities and libraries.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality deliverables.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills
- Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python/C#.
- Experience in TestNG/JUnit frameworks.




- Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or SOAP UI.
- Experience in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Mobile automation using Appium.
- Performance testing knowledge using JMeter.
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Automation Testing are an added advantage.

Nice to Have
- Experience working in enterprise applications.
- Exposure to Banking, Retail, Healthcare, or E-commerce domains.
- Knowledge of DevOps and Shift-Left testing practices.
