Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (Selenium)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium automation testing to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have experience in web application testing, test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Create and maintain automation frameworks using Java, TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and create test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools such as JIRA.
- Develop reusable automation components and utilities.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality deliverables.
- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.

Required Skills
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency in Java (preferred) or C#, Python.
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit frameworks.




- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle build tools.
- Experience in API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Exposure to Appium for mobile automation testing.
- Knowledge of cloud testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Selenium, ISTQB, or Automation Testing are a plus.
