Role Description This full-time Automation Engineer role is an on-site position based in Surat.

The Automation

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain industrial automation systems that support digital transformation solutions across various industries. Daily responsibilities include configuring and testing control systems, integrating hardware and software components, and optimizing process control strategies for reliability and efficiency. The role involves diagnosing and resolving automation-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams on project delivery,



and preparing technical documentation for system configurations and workflows.

The Automation

Engineer will also support commissioning, provide post-implementation maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement of automation standards and best practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control to design, implement, and optimize industrial control systems.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Electrical Engineering to work with control panels, instrumentation, and industrial power systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Robotics and related control technologies for automated equipment and machinery.
- Candidates should possess robust Troubleshooting skills to diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues in automation and control systems.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP) is beneficial.
- Experience in industrial domains such as Oil and Gas, Chemical, Power, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, wiring diagrams, and system architecture documents.
- Robust analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work safely and collaboratively on-site.
