About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Web, Mobile Application, and API testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation testing tools and frameworks, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work as an independent contributor in a fast-paced Agile environment.

In this role, you would be responsible for the environments to be functioning effectively including delivery of enhancements to the existing solution.



You would be expected to deal with users and senior stakeholders to agree the requirement and provide estimates for the effort and timing required for delivery.

What You Will Do

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and execute automation frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Execute API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Perform mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms and emulators.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, best practices, and quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications and skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.




- Strong experience in web application testing, mobile application testing (Android/iOS) and API testing.
- Hands-on experience with AI and automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Katalon, Appium, Cypress / Playwright (preferred) and Rest Assured / Postman.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or similar.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Experience with version control systems like Git or DevOps repository.
- Strong communicator (spoken and written) in English
- Ability to work in a team, independently and self-learn on existing and new components
- 5 years PQE
- Objective, results and customer oriented
- Ability to take ownership and deliver to deadlines
- Able to think long-term as well as short-term
