Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

- Develop detailed drawings for manufacturing, fabrication and machining requirements.

- Prepare CNC-compatible designs and drawings as per production requirements.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and design requirements.

- Understand dimensions, tolerances, fits and material specifications.

- Coordinate with the Production, Fabrication, Quality and Engineering teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.

- Make design modifications based on production and engineering feedback.

- Assist in developing and improving existing designs for better production efficiency and cost effectiveness.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings before releasing them for production.

- Maintain proper records and documentation of drawings and revisions.

- Support the production team in resolving drawing/design-related issues.

- Ensure that all designs comply with company standards and required specifications.

- Assist in CNC-related design and machining requirements as needed.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.





- Knowledge of CNC design and machining processes.

- Ability to read and understand engineering/technical drawings.

- Good understanding of mechanical components and fabrication processes.

- Knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, fits and material specifications.

- Ability to convert concepts/design requirements into production-ready drawings.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

- Relevant technical qualification with hands-on design experience will also be considered.

Experience

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD designing, mechanical design, fabrication or CNC-related design work.

- Experience in a manufacturing/fabrication setting will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
