To undertake Telecommunications systems design & engineering activities within the group, manage the team, Lead the projects, analyse the project requirements and provide input to the project manager in respect of resourse, design and consultancy services. To provide technical support and assistance.

Undertaking of tasks as assigned, in particular:

- The candidate shall be responsible for the Co-ordination and assurance of Telecommunications Systems design. The candidate is required to have a proven working knowledge of the activities necessary to produce fully assured designs for the following systems
- Structured Cabling,

- Lead and Managing the Telecom Team.
- Coordinate with Australian counter part for resources engagement.
- Participate in the Cross functional activities with other verticals and countries within GCC.
- Take ownership of deliverable preparation while strategically managing the resources required for successful task completion.
- Lead and manage Bengaluru-based project teams in delivering end-to-end telecommunications system design and consultancy solutions.
- Accurately forecast resource requirements and effort estimation necessary to execute complex, large-scale telecom initiatives.
- Oversee all telecom engineering inputs and outputs for dedicated rail design and consultancy projects.
- Contribute specialized telecommunications expertise to complex, multi-disciplinary railway design and engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate seamlessly across internal and external disciplines to integrate and position communication equipment within the comprehensive design framework.
- Produce critical engineering deliverables, including technical reports, schedules, detailed design drawings, and system schematics.
- Verify all system designs against rigorous client specifications, quality compliance benchmarks, and industry standards.
- Actively participate in internal and external project coordination, progress updates, and design review meetings.




- Conduct thorough design reviews for concurrent communication systems projects to ensure quality and consistency.
- Lead large-scale telecommunications projects from initial engineering phases through to on-site support and final customer acceptance.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers, cultivating a highly collaborative and productive team environment.
- Delegate tasks strategically to balance workloads efficiently and create professional development opportunities for team members.
- Review and approve design documentation to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and total compliance with regulatory codes and standards.

Key Competencies / Skills
- 15 years of Experience in Telecommunications systems design, Rail experience will be preferred
- Experience in various project phases such as conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design etc.
- Strong understanding of cabling standards and best practices (TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC, Australian Standards).
- Support and develop telecommunications design deliverables such as system overview drawing, conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, layout drawings, wiring drawings, cable schedules, rack layouts, storage & bandwidth calculations.
- Knowledge of fundamental engineering and communication systems standards and best practice.
- Knowledge and experience of the requirements for designing safety critical and safety related systems.
- Ability to produce coherent and accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent mentoring and communication skills
- Master / Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Instrumentation, Telecommunications, Electrical or any other related discipline
- Professionally accredited (CEng).
- High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- High proficiency in the use of Revit, AutoCAD, Navis, and Revu Bluebeam.
- Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, RCDD, PSP or from a manufacturer related to the telecommunications field is an asset.
- Experience in Vendor specific tools such as JVSG, EASE, RF tools (iB-Wave) etc.,
- Experience in working with Australia Rail is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with current codes and technologies pertinent to telecommunications and building technologies.
- Quality and safety oriented design skills with on time delivery approach.
