Role Overview

CloudKeeper is looking for a Cloud Architect Microsoft to help customers design, optimize, and operate scalable cloud environments.

This role is primarily customer-facing, where you will assess Azure infrastructures, perform architecture reviews, and provide recommendations to improve performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

You will also contribute to CloudKeeper’s Azure platform, helping develop automated insights, architecture recommendations, and infrastructure analysis capabilities.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud architecture, understands real-world production environments, and can translate technical analysis into actionable improvements for customers.

Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Reviews

- Perform deep assessments of customer Azure environments and identify architecture improvements.
- Provide recommendations aligned with Azure Well-Architected Framework.
- Design and review architectures for scalability, high availability, and security.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend modernization strategies.
- Work with customers across a range of Azure services including:
- Compute (VMs, VMSS, App Services)
- Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, Private Endpoints, Load Balancers, Application Gateway)
- Storage (Blob, Disk, File)
- Databases (Azure SQL, managed databases)
- Identity and Access Management (Azure AD, RBAC)
- Help customers improve deployment patterns, operational practices, and cloud governance.
- Troubleshoot complex Azure infrastructure issues.

Cloud Optimization & FinOps

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficient resource utilization.
- Provide recommendations on rightsizing, architecture improvements, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to insights that support FinOps-driven cloud governance.

Product Development Contribution

- Contribute to CloudKeeper’s Azure product capabilities.




- Help design automated architecture reviews and recommendation systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve Azure infrastructure insights and automation.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud architecture.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure design, networking, and security.
- Experience designing highly available and scalable cloud systems.
- Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience working directly with customers or stakeholders in technical roles.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
- Understanding of FinOps or cloud cost optimization practices.
- Exposure to Kubernetes or AKS.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep)

Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure.

- Azure certifications preferred

- Azure Solutions Architect Expert

- Azure Administrator Associate
