- Ensure implementation of Safety, Health & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at plant/site.
- Conduct regular Safety Inspections, Safety Audits, Risk Assessments and Workplace Observations.
- Identify hazards and ensure implementation of suitable corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor compliance with applicable Factories Act, Rules and statutory HSE requirements.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks, Safety Training, Induction Training and Awareness Programs.
- Monitor PPE compliance, work permits, LOTO, working at height, confined space and hot work activities.
- Support Permit to Work (PTW) system and ensure safe work practices by employees and contractors.
- Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance.
- Investigate near misses, incidents and accidents and assist in root-cause analysis.
- Maintain safety records, MIS, inspection reports and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate Emergency Preparedness, Mock Drills and Fire Safety activities.
- Participate in internal/external safety audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Promote a solid Safety Culture and Zero Harm environment across the plant.
Experience: 5-10 Years in Industrial Safety in Cement/ Heavy Engineering/ Power Plant.
Educational Qualifications- Graduation with Diploma in Industrial Safety/ B. Tech
