About StylSmyth
StylSmyth is a Global Capability Centre dedicated to the fashion and lifestyle industry, delivering end-to-end design and operations support to leading international brands. For over 15 years, we've operated as an extension of our clients' in-house teams, helping them scale through dedicated creative support, production-ready artwork, and operational excellence.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Merchandise Associate to keep our merchandising workflows organised, visible and on schedule. You will manage projects and timelines in Monday.com, track Time & Action (T&A;) calendars, coordinate with factories, and support communication with international clients. This role sits in Business Operations and focuses on execution and follow-through across teams. It is not a commercial or fabric-sourcing role.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Workflow Management
- Set up, manage and update project boards in Monday.com for orders, sampling and production milestones.
- Track task ownership, due dates and dependencies across teams, and escalate risks and delays early.
- Maintain accurate trackers, status reports and project documentation.
- Prepare regular status updates for the Manager Business Operations and internal stakeholders.
T&A; and Production Tracking
- Build, maintain and monitor T&A; calendars for each order or style.
- Follow up on sampling, approvals, production progress and shipment readiness against T&A; milestones.
- Flag deviations and support the team in getting orders back on track.
Factory & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with factories and vendors on sampling, production status and delivery timelines.
- Work with Design, Production, Logistics and Quality teams to keep information flowing and actions closed.
- Follow up on pending approvals, comments and sample feedback.
International Client Support
- Support day-to-day communication with international clients on approvals, order status and delivery updates.
- Consolidate client feedback and make sure it reaches the right teams.
- Help review tech packs, artwork and specifications for completeness before they move ahead.
Process Improvement
- Identify recurring bottlenecks and suggest improvements to workflows and Monday.com setups.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, Commerce or a related field.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in merchandising, production coordination or operations, ideally in apparel or fashion.
- Hands-on experience with Monday.com, or similar tools such as Asana or Trello, with willingness to learn quickly.
- Working knowledge of T&A; calendars and the sampling-to-shipment cycle.
- Experience coordinating with factories or vendors, and communicating with international clients in English.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. Exposure to PLM/ERP systems is a plus.
What We Offer
- Direct exposure to international clients and real-time global workflows.
- Hands-on learning across merchandising, production and operations.
- Fast-paced, collaborative setting with strong growth opportunities.
