Role Description - Associate

At Orington & Partners, you will be responsible for executing complex investment banking mandates, including capital raising, cross-border M&A;, financial restructuring, and strategic advisory. It is a Front-Office role.

You will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, leading capital-raising and M&A; transactions, driving business development, and mentoring team members. This role requires a deep understanding of financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, capital raising eco-system and market analysis approaches.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of domestic and international M&A; and Capital Raising transactions, including pitch preparation, financial modelling, due diligence, and deal structuring.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and investors, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction.
- Conduct in-depth market research, financial analysis, and valuation to support strategic decision-making. Prepare and present high-quality pitch decks, investment memos, financial models and other client deliverables.
- Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships,



and contributing to the firm’s growth strategy.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to deliver seamless client solutions.

Ideal Candidate should have:

- Strong Financial Modeling and Analytical Skills.
- Experience in Due Diligence and Valuation, and strong understanding of Finance and Investment Banking. Abreast with end-to-end deal cycle, financial models, and accounting concepts.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are non-negotiable. Should possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to prepare and present high-quality presentations and investment memos.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively.
- Relevant certifications (CA/CFA/MBA) are beneficial.
- 2-3 years of experience working in front-end role in a VC/PE/Big4/Investment Boutique/Family Office/Valuations or DD departments of boutique firms.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Koramangala - Bangalore, India.
