This is a high-trust, multi-functional role working directly with the Founder's / CEO's Office. You will own the firm's people processes end to end, from sourcing and hiring to onboarding, HR records and policies, while keeping the office running smoothly and helping build Samastha's reputation with clients, lenders, qualified bodies, candidates and the wider market.

The role suits a confident, well-presented communicator with at least one year of HR experience who can manage several priorities at once, solve problems calmly, and handle confidential business and personnel information with complete discretion. As part of a lean, growing team, you will see first-hand how a financial-services firm is built and run.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

- Manage the complete hiring lifecycle: manpower requisition, JD drafting with the hiring manager, job posting, screening, interviews, offer and acceptance.
- Post open roles on job portals (Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn), the company careers page, social media, referral networks and recruitment agencies.
- Screen CVs against the JD, confirm current and expected CTC and notice period, and conduct first-level HR screening calls.
- Build sourcing channels for finance roles such as CA / CS trainees and articleship candidates, analysts, and portfolio and operations executives, including campus and professional-institute connects.
- Schedule virtual and in-person interviews with the leadership team, manage candidate communication, and maintain the recruitment tracker.
- Prepare and issue offer letters and track offer acceptance.

2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage onboarding, including joining documentation, KYC, background-verification consent, ID and email creation, policy orientation and induction.
- Maintain the employee master, personnel files, attendance and leave records in line with company policies.
- Process employee reimbursements as per policy and share monthly payroll inputs with the accounts team and CA office.
- Support KRA setting and periodic performance reviews for employees and interns.
- Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, formats and HR letters (appointment, confirmation, experience and relieving letters).
- Address employee queries and concerns promptly and confidentially, and manage exit formalities.
- Plan engagement activities,



celebrations and learning sessions that support a positive work culture.
- Support statutory HR compliance (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Shops & Establishments) in coordination with advisors.

3. Office Administration
- Oversee office upkeep, seating and space planning, housekeeping, security and maintenance.
- Manage vendors, AMCs, utility payments and procurement of supplies, devices and services within budget.
- Maintain an organised repository of NDAs, MoUs, engagement letters and agreements, along with their renewal schedules.
- Coordinate client and stakeholder meetings, calendars, reminders and follow-ups, and host visitors with a professional front-office presence.
- Arrange travel, transport and accommodation when required, and manage dispatch, courier and records.

4. Public Relations & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a qualified point of contact for external relationships, including banks, NBFCs, skilled bodies, empanelling institutions, industry associations, educational institutes and media.
- Draft press releases, firm announcements, newsletters, milestone updates and internal communications, in coordination with the marketing team.
- Ensure all external communication about clients and transactions respects client confidentiality, NDAs and internal approvals.
- Strengthen the firm's employer brand through LinkedIn, hiring campaigns, campus outreach and a positive candidate experience.
- Plan and coordinate participation in CFO and promoter meets, industry seminars, professional-body programmes and networking events.
- Build relationships with institutes, alliance partners and industry bodies, and maintain a stakeholder contact database.
- Monitor industry news and mentions of the firm, and flag reputational matters to leadership.

5. Founder's Office Support & Special Projects
- Support the Founder on people, culture and organisation-building initiatives, including org structure and role charters.
- Prepare briefs,



presentations and HR MIS on hiring, headcount, attrition and people costs.
- Take ownership of cross-functional projects as they arise and drive them to closure.

Requirements (Must Have)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in HR, recruitment, HR operations or a closely related role.
- Education: Graduate in any stream; MBA / PGDM (HR), BBA / BMS or Mass Communication preferred.
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to engage founders, bankers, candidates, institutions and vendors.
- Problem Solving: Able to handle people issues, operational challenges and unexpected situations calmly and practically.
- Multitasking: Able to manage HR, administration and PR work in parallel without missing deadlines.
- Professional Presentation: Polished and presentable, with good business etiquette suited to a client-facing advisory firm.
- Integrity: Trustworthy and discreet with confidential client, financial and personnel information.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quick to learn new tools.

Good to Have
- Experience hiring for finance, CA / CS, consulting or BFSI roles.
- Working knowledge of Indian labour laws and payroll basics (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS on salary).
- Exposure to corporate communications, PR, events or LinkedIn content.
- Experience in a startup, small firm or founder's office with generalist responsibilities.
- Familiarity with HRMS / ATS tools, job-portal back ends and Canva or similar design tools.
- Knowledge of Marathi and Hindi.
