How You Will Contribute

- Own design authority for taking AI applications into production, set the standards delivery teams must build to, and uphold those standards under commercial pressure
- Act as the approval authority at both mandatory checkpoints: readiness to go live and readiness to transition into steady-state operations, including authority to stop a release.




- Define deployment-specific non-functional requirements for performance, availability, scalability and cost, and make the trade-offs between them explicit.
- Lead threat modelling for agentic applications, including prompt-injection exposure, tool-call abuse, retrieval poisoning and data-exfiltration paths
- Determine cloud placement and portability for each engagement, balancing client data-residency constraints with reuse of the firm's standard toolkit.
- Own governance throughput, including internal risk and technology reviews, model cards and audit trails; commission independent penetration testing or security certification when required by the client.
- Serve as the senior technical voice with client CIO, CISO and risk stakeholders, and with A&M; Managing Directors, on scope, cost, risk and change.
- Build and expand the reusable asset library so each subsequent deployment is faster and more cost-effective.

Qualifications

- 12+ years of experience as Solution architect
- Significant experience architecting and deploying production systems on at least two major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP), including at least one generative-AI or agentic workload used by real users
- Demonstrable design-authority experience:



setting engineering standards that other teams build to, rather than only delivering against standards defined elsewhere.
- Working knowledge of LLM application security architecture, including identity, secrets, network isolation, content filtering and the attack surface introduced by agents
- Ability to define and defend non-functional requirements and cost envelopes and translate technical risk into commercial language for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience operating within a formal technology-governance or risk-review process.
- Executive presence: credible with client C-suite stakeholders and comfortable declining a senior request when the evidence does not support it.
