Job Summary
We are hiring an Assistant Vice-President – Employee Co-Invest Program to manage the day-to-day operations of multiple investment funds, including investor onboarding, relationship management, fund accounting, reporting, servicing and operational oversight.
The role will work closely with cross-functional teams, fund administrators, auditors, banking/lending partners and internal stakeholders. The candidate will also drive process improvements across data, reporting, technology and investor experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate new co-invest fund launches, fund structures, jurisdictions and related documentation.
- Manage investor onboarding, servicing and relationship management.
- Oversee fund operations, reporting and fund accounting activities.
- Review and approve capital calls, distributions and investor notices.
- Coordinate year-end audits and resolve audit queries.
- Manage relationships with fund administrators, auditors, banking and lending partners.
- Oversee quarterly NAV reconciliations and reporting deliverables.
- Review and approve quarterly and annual US GAAP financial statements and disclosures.
- Manage debt facilities and compliance reporting, where applicable.
- Coordinate project plans, milestones and management updates.
- Handle ad-hoc requests from limited partners, analysts and investment teams.
- Train, mentor and manage teams across US and Mumbai locations.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, reporting, technology and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications :
- CA / MBA qualified; CPA preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Public accounting experience; Big 4 experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP.
- Experience in fund accounting / investment accounting.
- Proven team management experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word, including complex formulas/macros.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Investran, eFront or other investment software.
- Experience with Sungard Dx, Intralinks or similar investor portals.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau or other BI tools.
- Experience managing third-party service providers.
- Strong project management and process improvement experience.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
