We're Hiring: Assistant Project Manager – Refractory Projects

? Location: Pune (Head Office) + Travel to Client Sites across India

MMP Refratech is a Pune-based refractory application and manufacturing company. We execute refractory projects for steel, cement, power and process industries, and manufacture our own brand of graded refractory castables.

We're growing fast and looking for a hands-on Assistant Project Manager who can take ownership at site and deliver shutdown jobs safely, on time and within budget.

What you'll do

? Plan and execute refractory projects

? Manage internal team and site manpower, contractors and daily site progress during shutdowns

? Coordinate material, tools and equipment with purchase, dispatch and planning teams

? Ensure strict compliance with client safety norms (PPE, permits, work-at-height, confined space)

? Maintain daily progress reports, measurement sheets and client sign-offs

? Support billing,



reconciliation and project closure documentation

? Be the first point of contact for the client's maintenance / shutdown team at site

What we're looking for

✅ Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Ceramic or Civil Engineering

✅ [12–15] years of site execution experience in refractory or industrial maintenance projects

✅ Exposure to steel plants, cement kilns, boilers or furnaces is a strong plus

✅ Ability to handle large manpower teams under tight shutdown timelines

✅ Working knowledge of MS Excel and project tracking

✅ Willing to travel and stay at client sites for extended periods

✅ Hindi and English communication
