Job Summary –

A Non-Functional Test (NFT) Lead — Quality Manager to Lead the non-functional testing capability across the domain - performance, scalability, resilience, and security-related testing - shifting NFT left into the delivery lifecycle and using AI to improve efficiency, analysis, and coverage.

- Key Responsibilities
- Own the domain NFT strategy: performance, load, stress, scalability, and resilience testing.

- Shift NFT left - embed non-functional validation early rather than at end-of-cycle.

- Leverage AI for test design, results analysis, bottleneck identification, and reporting.

- Define NFT standards, entry/exit criteria, and non-functional acceptance thresholds.

- Lead performance engineering activities, environment/test-data readiness, and tooling.

- Analyse results, identify root causes (e.g. memory, latency, throughput), and drive remediation with engineering teams.

- Provide explicit NFT reporting and risk assessment to delivery and senior stakeholders.

- Build and mentor the NFT team; grow non-functional capability across the domain.

- Skills & Experience

- Strong background in performance and non-functional testing at scale.

- Hands-on with performance tooling and NFT frameworks; strong results analysis and root-cause skills.





- Experience embedding NFT into CI/CD and shift-left delivery.

- Practical use of AI to accelerate NFT analysis, reporting, or test creation.

- Effective communicator able to translate NFT risk into business terms for leadership.

- Success Measures
- Non-functional risks identified earlier in the lifecycle.

- Improved system performance, scalability, and resilience pre-release.

- Efficiency gains in NFT execution and analysis through AI.

- Consistent NFT standards and reporting adopted across teams.
