nAssistant Professor – Computer Science & Applications

nKey Responsibilities:

nTeaching & Instruction

- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Applications.
n
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, and seminars.
n
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and examinations.
n

nResearch & Academic Development

n

- Conduct research in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, etc.
n
- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
n
- Apply for research grants and collaborate with industry/academic partners.
n

nStudent Mentoring

n

n
- Guide students in projects, internships, and career development.
n
- Supervise final-year projects and dissertations.
n
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship.
n

nCurriculum Development

n

- Participate in designing and updating course curriculum aligned with industry trends.
n
- Develop new courses, lab modules, and learning resources.
n

nAdministrative & Institutional Responsibilities

- Participate in departmental committees and academic activities.
n
- Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, conferences, and technical events.
n
- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional development.
n

nIndustry Collaboration

- Build connections with industry for internships, training, and collaborative research.
n
- Encourage innovation, startups, and practical learning.
n

nQualifications

nMaster's Degree (M.Tech / M.Sc. / MCA) in Computer Science / Computer Applications / related field.

nNET / SET / PhD preferred or as per University Grants Commission (UGC) / All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) norms.

nStrong academic record with positive communication and teaching skills.

nDesired Skills & Expertise:

nProgramming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.)

nKnowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases

nExperience with modern technologies (AI/ML, Cloud, Web Development)

nResearch and publication experience

nGood presentation and mentoring skills
