Experience: 10 Years

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Salary: 80,000 to ₹1,00,000 CTC per month (This is CTC including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax etc.)

Job Summary

Assistant Planning Engineer – Civil to support planning, scheduling, monitoring, documentation, material coordination, and reporting activities for a large-scale industrial manufacturing project.

The ideal candidate should have 10 years of experience in planning industrial/EPC projects and strong hands-on expertise in Primavera P6, MS Excel, project scheduling, progress monitoring, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Prepare WBS, baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and project timelines.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify delays or deviations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and MIS dashboards.
- Maintain project documentation, including:
- Master Document Register (MDR)
- Master Drawing List (MDL)
- Revision control
- RFIs
- Submittals
- Transmittals
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, and other project teams.
- Track procurement activities, material requirements, vendor coordination, logistics, inventory, and purchase orders.
- Support preparation of MOMs (Minutes of Meeting) and follow up on action items.
- Coordinate project planning activities with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor material and procurement schedules against project requirements.
- Prepare analytical reports and provide planning-related inputs to the Project Manager.




- Maintain project data using MS Excel, MS Office, SAP/ERP, and document management systems.

Required Skills
- Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP/ERP systems.
- Familiarity with Aconex, BIM 360, Procore, or EDMS.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong project planning and scheduling skills.
- Good communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Industry Experience

Candidates with experience in planning for large-scale EPC/PMC and industrial projects, particularly in the following sectors, are preferred:

- Manufacturing Plants
- Power Projects
- Steel
- Cement
- Oil & Gas
- Petrochemical
- Large Industrial Construction Projects

Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project planning.
- Robust experience in industrial project planning and scheduling.
- Excellent knowledge of Primavera P6 and project monitoring.
- Experience coordinating with multiple project functions and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Salary: 80,000 ₹1,00,000 CTC per month (This is not in hand)

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
