Role Description The Assistant Mechanic role at Synchronized is a full-time, in office position based in Farrukhnagar.

The Assistant

Mechanic supports the maintenance team in performing routine and preventive maintenance on company-owned trucks and heavy equipment used in warehousing and transportation operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in diagnosing mechanical issues, carrying out basic repairs, and ensuring vehicles and equipment are safe, reliable, and compliant with company standards. The role involves documenting work performed, following maintenance schedules,



maintaining tools and workshop cleanliness, and collaborating with senior mechanics and operations staff to minimize downtime.

The Assistant

Mechanic is expected to follow all safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in maintenance and maintenance & repair, with the ability to assist in routine service tasks on vehicles and equipment.
- Experience or training in preventive maintenance, including following maintenance schedules and checklists to reduce breakdowns.
- Exposure to heavy equipment maintenance, preferably in logistics, transport, or industrial environments.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying mechanical issues and supporting senior mechanics in diagnosing problems.
- Ability to follow technical instructions, service manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Commitment to safety practices and use of personal protective equipment in workshop and yard environments.
- Minimum of a relevant vocational/technical qualification or diploma in mechanical, automotive, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Willingness to work on-site in Farrukhnagar, including occasional extended hours based on operational needs.
- Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with mechanics, drivers, and operations staff.
