Job Title: Assistant Manager – Marketing
Function: Marketing
Reports to position: Marketing Lead – PGP Suite
Location: Hyderabad
Job Purpose The Assistant Manager will support marketing communications and day-to-day marketing operations across the PGP Suite, ensuring campaigns, content and events are planned and delivered effectively. The role will help keep marketing initiatives on track and contribute to stronger marketing outcomes.
The Assistant Manager should be adept at stakeholder management, demonstrate growth-hacking skills, and ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives. The role will entail outreach for student and alumni blogs, crafting event campaigns and communications, developing creative assets for programme outreach, maintaining and repurposing content repositories across channels, and coordinating promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement.
Job Outline
Comms, Campaign & Stakeholder Management (Planning, Process, Execution & Tracking):
- Support campaign planning and rollout across channels, aligning communication requirements, timelines and dependencies for PGP Suite programmes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across creative, digital, admissions, student affairs, alumni, tech and analytics to ensure timely execution of campaign deliverables.
- Maintain structured marketing calendars, campaign trackers and standardised workflows to ensure timely delivery, quality control and process adherence.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into marketing performance.
- Monitor campaign KPIs, identify performance gaps and translate insights into actionable optimisation measures.
Event Planning, Operations & Marketing:
- Develop event strategy and GTM plans, including themes, audience approach and success metrics.
- Lead end-to-end event project management and execution, including timelines,
venue, speakers, AV, vendors, stakeholder coordination and campaign go-lives.
- Plan and coordinate pre-event, event-day and post-event communications across relevant touchpoints.
- Develop targeted event marketing and promotional assets across email, social media and digital channels to drive reach and attendance.
- Track event and campaign performance, derive insights and implement improvements for future interventions.
Integrated Content Development:
- Develop programme marketing communications across creative assets and channels, aligned to target audience, programme positioning and messaging frameworks.
- Build and manage the student and alumni content pipeline, including profile-led outreach, personalised questions, blog development and alignment with programme narratives.
- Support development of programme marketing collateral across landing pages, brochures, emailers, websites and other formats in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
- Repurpose existing content and creative assets into relevant formats to extend reach and utility across channels.
- Maintain a structured, searchable content repository with version control, approvals and archiving for efficient reuse.
Market research:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights relevant to enterprise and government segments, providing actionable recommendations to support marketing strategy development.
Job Specification:
Knowledge / Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field;
- Master's degree preferred.
Specific Skills
- Conceptualising, planning and execution of B2C and B2B events for the PGP suite
- Should be comfortable writing long-form, nuanced content including student and alum blogs
- Excellent stakeholder management, operational and execution excellence
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong understanding of consumer comms, personas and ability to curate programme collaterals for campaigns
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Marketing acumen across various platforms
- Adaptable and proactive with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic and evolving industry
Desirable Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in Marketing Communications, Campaign Management, Events Marketing and Marketing Operations is a MUST
- Experience in digital marketing is a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment will be crucial for success in this role

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and lead marketing campaigns and event marketing initiatives.
- Excellent at curating long-form communication (student reflection comms, blogs etc)
- Very positive communication skills – written and verbal.
- Agile and comfortable working with tight timelines
- Comfortable with Multitasking – The Job might require working over extended hours on select days.
- ROI/metrics-oriented approach while curating and executing programme-specific campaigns
