Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality skilled with strong expertise in EV/Automotive manufacturing, supplier development, quality systems, audits, PPAP, and problem-solving. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring supplier quality, improving supplier performance, reducing incoming rejections, and supporting new product and engineering change activities.

Key Responsibilities::

- Manage Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) activities for EV/automotive components.
- Conduct supplier process, product, system, and compliance audits.
- Review and approve PPAP documentation for new and modified parts.
- Monitor supplier PPM, rejection trends, quality performance, and supplier ratings.
- Handle supplier quality issues and drive effective CAPA, 8D, RCA, Why-Why Analysis, and 7 QC Tools.
- Lead supplier development initiatives to improve quality, process capability, and delivery performance.
- Support supplier selection, qualification, evaluation, and periodic performance reviews.
- Ensure supplier compliance with ISO/IATF quality requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers for engineering changes, ECN implementation, and part/process development.
- Review PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, Work Instructions, MSA, SPC, and other quality documentation.
- Support DFM/DFMEA/PFMEA activities during new product development.
- Conduct incoming material quality reviews and coordinate resolution of supplier rejections.
- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure adherence to approved process standards.




- Drive Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support customer complaint resolution and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain supplier quality records, audit reports, quality MIS, and performance dashboards.
- Work closely with R&D;, Purchase, Production, NPD, Stores, and other cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualification:: B.Tech / B.E. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Automotive / EV / 2-Wheeler / 3-Wheeler manufacturing.
- Experience in Supplier Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with EV components such as battery, charger, motor assembly and powertrain components is preferred.
