Role Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Manager Optometry Training to lead and deliver high-quality training in refraction, dispensing, optical processes, and clinical skills to Lenskarts retail teams. The role will focus on strengthening optometry capabilities, improving training effectiveness, and driving skill development across stores.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and conduct training on refraction, dispensing, optical techniques, and customer experience.

- Plan and execute classroom, practical, and on-the-job training programs.

- Use role plays, mock sessions, assessments, and creative learning methods to improve training effectiveness.

- Monitor trainee performance and provide structured feedback and coaching.

- Conduct store visits for on-ground coaching, skill assessments, and capability improvement.

- Develop and update training content based on business and capability requirements.





- Identify skill gaps and recommend focused training interventions.

- Collaborate with Store, Area, and Zonal Managers to drive optometry capability and performance.Track training effectiveness and trainee performance metrics.

Requirements

- Bachelors in Optometry (mandatory).

- 7–8 years of overall optometry experience.

- 3–4 years of experience in training, coaching, or capability development.

- Strong knowledge of refraction, dispensing, and optical products/processes.

- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to conduct practical training, assessments, and on-ground coaching.

- Willingness to travel for store visits and training programs.
