The role holder will support the execution of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) Procurement strategies across breweries, ensuring uninterrupted supply of critical spare parts and services while driving cost optimization, supplier performance, process compliance, and operational efficiency. The incumbent will work closely with brewery operations, engineering teams, suppliers, and procurement stakeholders to deliver sourcing initiatives, improve procurement processes, support localization projects, and provide category insights through analytics and reporting.

Key Job Responsibilities

- Support the implementation of MRO category strategies aligned with Zone and Global Procurement objectives.
- Conduct spend analysis and identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, standardization, and catalog buying.
- Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and performance reports for category visibility and decision-making.
- Drive implementation and monitoring of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs for quick-moving MRO materials across breweries.
- Partner with brewery engineering and maintenance teams to identify and execute localization opportunities for spare parts and services.
- Support the development and maintenance of rate cards for frequently procured spares and services.
- Drive procurement automation initiatives to improve process efficiency, compliance, and user experience.




- Coordinate supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance evaluation activities in accordance with procurement policies.
- Support commercial negotiations and contract management activities to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Review supplier agreements and ensure adherence to company procurement guidelines and governance requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed service, quality, and delivery KPIs and support improvement plans.
- Conduct periodic category risk assessments and support implementation of mitigation actions.
- Track contract utilization and support timely renewal and implementation of procurement agreements.
- Work closely with Finance and business stakeholders to resolve supplier-related commercial issues and support timely payments.
- Prepare regular updates on category performance, savings delivery, supplier metrics, and project status for leadership reviews.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- MBA or Post Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement, or related discipline preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing,



Category Management, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Procurement.
- Experience in MRO purchasing, engineering services procurement, industrial sourcing, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Exposure to supplier negotiations, contract management, and procurement analytics.
- Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP/procurement systems.

Preferred Skills / Knowledge

- Understanding of MRO procurement and category management principles.
- Knowledge of spare parts sourcing, maintenance operations, and industrial procurement practices.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in spend analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Power BI, and procurement reporting tools.
- Experience in supplier performance management and contract administration.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with sustainability and responsible sourcing practices is an added advantage.
