Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager with solid expertise in Fraud Detection, KYC, AML, Transaction Monitoring, and Risk Assessment. The role will involve managing fraud investigations and AML/KYC operations while leading and mentoring a team of analysts, ensuring quality, productivity, compliance, and timely resolution of cases.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of

Fraud, KYC and AML Analysts

, overseeing daily workloads, productivity, quality, and SLA adherence.

- Monitor and investigate fraud alerts, suspicious transactions, unusual customer activity, and potential financial crime cases

.

- Perform

KYC/CDD/EDD reviews

, customer risk assessment, identity verification, and documentation validation.

- Conduct

AML transaction monitoring and investigate alerts related to money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions, and other financial crime risks.

- Review customer profiles, transaction patterns, account activity, and risk indicators to identify potential fraudulent or suspicious behavior.





- Handle fraud investigations

, including case assessment, evidence gathering, root-cause analysis, escalation, and case closure.

- Review and analyze high-risk customers, PEPs, adverse media, sanctions screening, and watchlist alerts

.

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation/escalation of

SAR/STR-related cases in accordance with applicable AML procedures.

- Perform quality checks and case reviews to ensure investigation accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal policies.

- Allocate work, monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews, and manage

SLA/TAT, productivity, and quality metrics

- Coach and mentor team members on fraud typologies, AML/KYC procedures, investigation techniques, and regulatory requirements

.

- Identify recurring fraud patterns and emerging risks and provide recommendations to strengthen fraud controls and detection mechanisms
