Designation: Assistant Manager - Costing

Location: Bhiwadi

Position Specific Requirements

Own end-to-end product, process and plant costing across raw material, conversion cost, yield, scrap, power, labour, freight, overheads and other major cost pools.

Develop and institutionalize the costing framework, including cost centre hierarchy, cost objects, cost drivers, standard costing, actual costing, overhead allocation, absorption methodology, and activity-based costing.

Classify and analyse costs into controllable/uncontrollable and fixed/variable/semi-variable categories for better business accountability and margin improvement.

Build cost measurement points including source-data mapping, manual controls, data ownership, reconciliation logic and interim reporting mechanisms where ERP data is incomplete.

PrepareEBITDA-linked costing MIS, including gross margin bridge, EBITDA bridge, price-volume-mix analysis, rawmaterial variance, consumption variance, yield/ scrap variance, conversion cost variance and fixed costabsorption analysis.

Prepare management decks explaining margin movement, cost drivers,



profitability levers, risks, opportunities and scenario outcomes in a clear and commercially relevant manner.

Partner with plant, production, procurement, sales, finance and operations teams to identify cost reduction, pricing, product mix, capacity utilization and process improvement opportunities.

Drive measurable improvement in profitability by converting costing analysis into business actions, savings initiatives, pricing inputs, margin protection mechanisms, and management decisions.

Position Specific Skills

Qualified CMA/ICWA with strong product/ process cost accounting exposure in a manufacturing setup

Robust understanding of standard costing, actual costing, ABC costing, overhead absorption, variance analysis, and cost drivers.

Experience preparing costing MIS linked to gross margin and EBITDA

SAP CO/Product Costing/Material Ledger/SAP S/4HANA exposure.

Advanced Excel and financial modelling ability (Power BI proficiency preferred).
