Role Description The Assistant Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role supports the Maintenance Manager in overseeing day-to-day upkeep of restaurant facilities, equipment, and building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating routine inspections, organizing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance and repair activities, and responding to urgent breakdowns. The role involves collaborating with restaurant leadership and vendors, maintaining maintenance records, monitoring compliance with safety and hygiene standards,



and helping optimize maintenance costs without compromising quality.

Manager also assists in training maintenance staff and implementing best practices to support a high-quality guest experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to guide maintenance staff, delegate tasks, and monitor performance.
- Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills to handle troubleshooting, repairs, and routine servicing of kitchen and facility equipment.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance Management skills to plan schedules, minimize downtime, and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Knowledge of building services (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and safety regulations relevant to hospitality environments.
- Experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality facility maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, based on operational requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field is desirable.
