Buyer – Silver & International Buying

Departments: Silver Division and International Buying – Gold, Diamond & Silver

Experience: 3 - 4 years minimum in buying/procurement. Jewellery industry experience is preferred, but candidates from other industries with relevant buying and merchandising experience may also be considered.

Role Overview

Responsible for product sourcing, merchandising, vendor coordination, cost negotiation and execution of buying activities across the assigned categories, ensuring timely availability of products at competitive prices and in line with the assortment strategy.

Key Responsibilities

 Identify, evaluate and onboard vendors for Silver and International Gold, Diamond and Silver categories.

 Drive product sourcing, design selection, assortment planning and merchandising activities.

 Coordinate with vendors for quotations, costing, sampling, product specifications and delivery timelines.

 Negotiate pricing, payment terms, quality requirements and commercial conditions.

 Track purchase orders, production progress,



dispatches and inwarding to ensure timely execution.

 Maintain accurate buying trackers, vendor records, pricing sheets and product data using Excel.

 Analyse product assortment, category performance and market trends to support buying decisions.

 Coordinate with internal teams, including merchandising, quality, warehouse, finance and operations.

 Ensure adherence to buying processes, documentation standards and approval workflows.

Required Skills

 Minimum 3–4 years of buying/procurement experience.

 Experience in merchandising, product sourcing and vendor management.

 Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.

 Good command of MS Excel, including data handling, reporting and analysis.

 Solid follow-up, planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities.

 Ability to manage multiple categories, vendors and deadlines simultaneously.

Preferred: Jewellery, fashion accessories, lifestyle or retail buying experience.
