A bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, takes customer orders, manages bar inventory, maintains a clean and organized bar area, handles transactions, and ensures compliance with legal drinking age and health regulations. They are also responsible for providing excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and collaborating with other staff to ensure a positive guest experience. Key Responsibilities

- Beverage Preparation:Mix and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Customer Service:Greet patrons, take orders, offer recommendations, and engage in friendly conversation to ensure an enjoyable experience.
- Order Taking:Accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Inventory Management:Monitor stock levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies, and restock the bar area as needed.
- Hygiene and Organization:Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Transaction Handling:Process payments accurately,



manage cash and credit card transactions, and handle customer tabs.
- Legal Compliance:Verify customer identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age and monitor for signs of intoxication.
- Collaboration:Work effectively with other staff, such as kitchen and front-of-house teams, to ensure seamless service.
