Role Overview

Galgotias University Online is seeking Assistant Professor (Course Coordinators) to support the academic delivery of its online programmes. The role involves end-to-end academic delivery of assigned courses, including content development, online teaching, learner engagement, assessment, LMS management, and continuous improvement of course delivery.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor specializing in Online Education for Management, Economics and Computer Science. The role is based in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Responsibilities include developing and delivering high-quality online course content, conducting live sessions, mentoring students, and contributing to the creation and ongoing improvements of the curriculum. The individual will also engage in research activities, collaborate with academic peers, and support the academic growth of students in Management, Computer Science and Liberal Arts disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

· Take academic ownership of assigned courses and ensure effective implementation of the approved curriculum.

· Develop and regularly update high-quality academic content in accordance with the prescribed syllabus, academic standards, templates, and online learning requirements.

· Develop and maintain high-quality online course content, including SLMs, presentations, lecture videos, reading materials, assignments, assessments, and question banks.

· Conduct live online lectures, Q&A; sessions, and interactive learning activities as per the academic schedule.





· Coordinate lecture-video recording and ensure timely submission and availability of academic content on the LMS.

· Manage and regularly update course resources on the LMS.

· Engage with learners, address academic queries, provide mentoring, and monitor learner participation and progress.

· Develop and conduct quizzes, assignments, assessments, case studies, and other learner engagement activities.

· Complete evaluation, grading, and feedback within prescribed timelines.

· Coordinate with Programme Coordinators and CDOE teams to ensure timely and effective course delivery.

· Ensure academic content and delivery adhere to University standards and applicable UGC-DEB requirements.

· Contribute to curriculum enhancement, innovative pedagogy, research, and continuous improvement of the online learning experience.

Qualifications & Skills

· Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Political Science or a related field (preferred)

· Strong subject expertise in the relevant discipline.

· Proficiency in Curriculum Development and course content creation, particularly for online education

· Experience in teaching, higher education, or online education is highly desirable.

· Strong communication, presentation, and digital teaching skills.

· Ability to create engaging and learner-centric online content.

· Familiarity with LMS and technology-enabled learning.

· Strong academic orientation, learner focus, coordination, and time-management skills.

· A passion for research and continuous career development
