Job OverviewHero Cycles is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing and production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various components of bicycles (traditional and electric/e-bikes) according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety guidelines. You will play a vital role in ensuring that every Hero bicycle moving off the production line meets our standards for performance, safety, and craft.

Key Responsibilities

- Component Assembly: Assemble bicycle components including frames, handlebars, wheels, drive chains, braking systems, gears, pedals, and saddles using hand and power tools.

- E-Bike Integration (if applicable): Mount electric motors, drive units, battery packs, sensors, displays, and wiring harnesses according to electrical schematics and safety standards.

- Quality Assurance &
- Testing:

Inspect incoming parts and outgoing assemblies for defects, alignment, surface finishes, and mechanical performance. Perform functional tests on brakes, gear shifts, and electronics.

- Tool &

- Equipment Operation:

Operate assembly line tools such as torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, wheel truing stands, and mechanical presses safely and effectively.

- Process Adherence: Strictly follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), assembly line speed targets, and production schedules while adhering to Hero Cycles' safety protocols.

- Defect Reporting &

- Troubleshooting:

Identify and report defective parts, recurring assembly errors,



or line bottlenecks to line leaders and quality assurance teams.

- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following 5S principles.

Qualifications &

- Requirements

- Education: High School Diploma / 10th Standard pass, ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Mechanical, Fitter, Turner, Electrical, or related trade preferred.

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in bicycle assembly, automotive manufacturing, or light mechanical/electrical product assembly line operations.

- Skills:

- Proficiency with manual, pneumatic, and electric tools (e.g., torque wrenches, truing stands, screwdrivers, pliers).

- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, assembly diagrams, and SOPs.

- Basic knowledge of bicycle mechanics, gear tuning, hydraulic braking systems, and electrical circuits (for E-bikes).

- Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.

- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive manual tasks, and lift components weighing up to 20–25 kg.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience working on high-volume conveyor/assembly line operations in bicycle or two-wheeler manufacturing.

- Certification in Quality Control or Safety standards in an industrial setup.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
