Role Overview

The Artist Management Lead will build and nurture relationships with artists, estates, galleries, art representatives and key industry stakeholders, identifying opportunities for artist acquisition, collaborations and long-term partnerships that support AstaGuru’s curatorial vision, auction calendar and brand positioning. The role requires strong art-world insight, relationship-building skills and the ability to identify relevant artists and market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Artist & Talent Management

- Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with artists, performers and creative talent.
- Act as the key point of contact between artists, management teams, brands, event organizers and internal stakeholders.
- Understand artists' requirements, preferences, schedules and career objectives.
- Manage artist calendars, appearances, performances, events and other professional commitments.
- Coordinate rehearsals, travel, accommodation, production requirements and on-ground execution.

Talent Identification & Curation
- Identify emerging and established artists aligned with the organization's business and creative objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong network across the entertainment, fashion, music and creative ecosystem.
- Curate talent for events, performances, brand collaborations and special projects.
- Stay updated on emerging talent, market trends and opportunities within the entertainment industry.

Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify commercial opportunities for artists through brands, events, performances and strategic partnerships.




- Develop relationships with brands, agencies, event companies, promoters and other industry stakeholders.
- Participate in discussions around artist commercials, deliverables, contracts and partnership terms.
- Explore opportunities to build new revenue streams through artist-led collaborations and IPs.

Event & Production Management
- Work closely with event and production teams to ensure smooth execution of artist engagements.
- Coordinate show schedules, rehearsals, technical requirements, artist riders and hospitality requirements.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and timelines simultaneously.
- Be comfortable handling last-minute changes and high-pressure situations during live events.

Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal leadership, creative teams, marketing, business development and operations.
- Manage external relationships with artist managers, agencies, promoters, venues, brands and production houses.
- Ensure clear communication of expectations, timelines and deliverables across stakeholders.

Key Skills & Competencies
- 10+ years of experience in artist management, talent management, fashion programming, entertainment, events or a related creative industry.
- Strong network across artists, talent agencies, fashion, music and entertainment.
- Excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of artist commercials, negotiations and brand partnerships.
- Strong Programme, event and project management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple artists and projects simultaneously.
- Robust commercial orientation with an understanding of the entertainment ecosystem.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility around events, travel and artist schedules.

Ideal Candidate Profile A senior professional who has spent significant time working with creative talent and large-scale programmes /events, such as India Fashion Week, fashion shows, entertainment events, music festivals, luxury events or talent-led IPs.
