We are a boutique CA firm that works with growth-stage startups and SMEs. Our work goes beyond compliance. We build financial models, run due diligence, support fundraises, structure transactions and act as the finance team for founders who do not have one yet.
As an Articled Assistant, you will work on live client mandates from your first month. You will not sit on one task for two years. You will see how a startup's books connect to its board decks, its investor conversations and its compliance calendar. You will work directly with the partners and get real feedback on your work.
What You Will Work On
- Virtual CFO work: bookkeeping reviews, month-end closing, MIS and management reports for startup clients
- GST, TDS and income tax compliance: returns, reconciliations and notices
- Financial models and projections for fundraises and business plans
- Due diligence: financial, tax and secretarial reviews for investors and acquirers
- FEMA and cross-border work: FC-GPR, FC-TRS and foreign investment filings
- ROC and secretarial compliance under the Companies Act and LLP Act
- Statutory and internal audits, including audits of funds
Who We Are Looking For
- Cleared both groups of CA Intermediate and completed ICITSS, as required to start articleship under ICAI's new scheme
- Strong in Excel, or willing to get solid fast
- Comfortable with numbers that must be exactly right, not roughly right
- Clear in written English. You will draft emails and notes that clients read
- Curious about how businesses make and lose money, not just how they file returns
What You Get
- Exposure to startup finance, fundraising and transactions, which most firms do not offer at articleship stage
- Direct work with the partners, not layers of seniors
- A stipend in line with ICAI norms
- A team that explains the "why" behind the work
Location: Bengaluru (work from office) Duration: 2 years, as per ICAI practical training requirements
