Role Description The Article Trainee will support the firm’s professional team in day-to-day assignments across accounting, audit, tax, and consultancy engagements. Typical responsibilities include maintaining financial records, assisting with statutory and internal audits, preparing tax computations and filings, and supporting regulatory compliance work. The trainee will help in drafting working papers, preparing reports and presentations, and coordinating with clients under guidance from senior team members.

The role involves learning and applying relevant accounting standards and tax laws, participating in on-the-job training, and contributing to process documentation and data management. This is a full time,



on-site position based in Ahmedabad, offering structured exposure to professional practice and development.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation knowledge, preferably gained through CA curriculum or equivalent academic background.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn accounting and tax software used by the firm.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare clear working papers, reports, and client correspondence.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data and regulatory requirements.
- High level of integrity, qualified ethics, and a willingness to take responsibility under supervision.
- Ability to work full time on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate within teams, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines during busy compliance and audit periods.
- Enrollment in the Chartered Accountancy course (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per ICAI requirements for articleship) or a similar professional program is preferred.
- Interest in building a career in accounting, audit, taxation, and consultancy, with openness to continuous learning and skill development.
