Role Description The Article Assistant will support audit and assurance assignments, focusing primarily on banking-related audits and compliance work.

Responsibilities include assisting in statutory, concurrent, and internal audits, performing vouching and verification of transactions, preparing working papers and schedules, and supporting documentation for audit reports. The role also involves gathering and analyzing financial data,



assisting seniors in due diligence and special audit engagements, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.

The Article

Assistant will coordinate with team members and client staff, maintain organized records, and contribute to timely completion of assignments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular office and field visits as per assignment needs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should be registered as Article Assistants under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) or eligible for articleship training.
- Should possess a foundational understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and basic taxation concepts.
- Should have strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Should demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation and qualified client interaction.
- Should be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with accounting and audit-related software.
- Should display attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Should be willing to travel locally for audit assignments and adapt to varied work environments and client locations.
- Prior internship or exposure to audit, banking, or finance-related work will be considered an added advantage.
