Role Description The Article Assistant will support audit and assurance assignments, with a focus on banking and related financial services, under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing statutory, concurrent, and internal audits, performing test checks, verifying documents and records, and preparing working papers and basic reports.
The role also involves supporting compliance reviews, data compilation, and documentation for various specialized audits, as well as coordinating with clients for information and clarifications.
The Article
Assistant will maintain accurate records, adhere to professional standards, and contribute to timely completion of assignments while learning and applying relevant accounting, auditing, and regulatory concepts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of accounting, auditing principles, and banking operations.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills for audit and compliance work.
- Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer and IT skills relevant to audit work.
- Candidates should possess the ability to follow professional standards, work accurately under supervision, and manage multiple assignments.
- Pursuing or completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) articleship eligibility or equivalent professional training is highly beneficial.
- Relevant internship or prior exposure to audit, taxation, or banking-related assignments will be an added advantage.
