Job Summary The Art & Craft Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate art and craft activities for primary students. The teacher should encourage creativity, imagination, self-expression, and appreciation of art while creating a positive and interactive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct creative Art & Craft lessons for students from Primary grades.
- Teach various art techniques such as drawing, colouring, painting, sketching, paper craft, clay work, origami, collage, and other craft activities.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the school's academic curriculum.
- Encourage students to explore their creativity and express their ideas through different art forms.
- Prepare and arrange required art materials and resources for classroom activities.
- Guide students in completing individual and group art projects.
- Organise art displays, exhibitions, competitions, and school events.
- Maintain students' artwork and assist in displaying their work around the school campus.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of art materials and equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised art classroom.
- Observe students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help improve their skills.
- Integrate art and craft activities with other subjects wherever appropriate.
- Participate in school celebrations, theme-based activities, workshops, and cultural programmes.




- Coordinate with other teachers and the academic team for school projects and events.
- Maintain discipline and ensure students follow classroom and safety guidelines.
- Attend staff meetings, training programmes, and other school-related activities as required.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- A B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification would be an added advantage.

Experience
- 2–4 years of teaching experience in a school environment, preferably with primary students.
- Experience in an ICSE school will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with strong practical art skills and relevant teaching experience may also be considered.
