Job Title: Area Sales Manager Paint Industry

Experience Required: Minimum 8 years (Paint Industry experience mandatory)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager with strong expertise in the paint industry to lead sales operations in the Pune region. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in driving business growth, managing dealer/distributor networks, and achieving sales targets in decorative or industrial paints.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Manage and expand the dealer, distributor, and project customer base within the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.




- Conduct regular field visits to strengthen relationships and provide market intelligence.
- Train and guide the sales team/distributors for better performance and market penetration.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to management.

Requirements:

- Graduate / MBA in Marketing or relevant field.
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience in the paint industry (decorative, industrial, or both).
- Robust knowledge of dealer/distributor management and project sales.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive results under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong market network in the Pune region.
- Experience in both B2B and B2C sales within the paint segment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
