Job Purpose To drive sales and distribution growth in the assigned territory by managing distributors, expanding retail coverage, ensuring product availability and visibility, and developing strong relationships with channel partners and retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Manage and develop distributor and dealer relationships.
- Drive primary and secondary sales and ensure regular product movement.
- Expand retail reach and market coverage by identifying and onboarding new outlets.
- Ensure availability, visibility, merchandising and proper display of Makino products at retail outlets.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities, pricing, schemes and new launches.
- Implement company sales schemes, promotions and trade offers effectively.
- Track distributor stock, sales, outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
- Identify recent business opportunities and develop untapped markets within the territory.
- Maintain regular communication with distributors, retailers and the internal sales team.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and market reports as required.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines and sales processes.

Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
- Experience: 1–4 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in General Trade.
- Experience in handling distributors and retailers will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of the assigned local market and territory.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Should be target-oriented, energetic and comfortable working in the field.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred/required.
