Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Architectural Designer / Revit Draftsman with 4–8 years of experience in residential architectural design and drafting, preferably handling US-based single-family home projects. The ideal candidate should have strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, a sound understanding of architectural drawings, and the ability to prepare detailed construction and permit drawing sets in accordance with US building standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare architectural drawings and detailed construction documentation for US single-family residential projects.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, roof plans, and site plans using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare permit-ready drawing sets for new construction, additions, remodels, and renovations.
- Convert sketches, markups, and conceptual designs into accurate architectural drawings.
- Develop existing and proposed floor plans based on site measurements and client requirements.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) consultants.
- Incorporate client feedback, design revisions, and city plan-check comments into drawing sets.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineering teams to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain organized project files, Revit models,



and drawing documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is mandatory.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in architectural design and drafting.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit is mandatory.
- Experience in US residential projects, particularly single-family homes, is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of US residential construction practices and architectural drafting standards.
- Knowledge of construction drawings, detailing, dimensions, and building materials.
- Familiarity with US building codes, zoning regulations, and permit documentation.
- Ability to interpret architectural sketches, redlines, and design specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with residential additions, ADUs, garage conversions, remodels, and recent home construction.
- Familiarity with California residential building codes and permitting processes.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD in addition to Revit.
- Experience coordinating with structural engineers and other consultants.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and Revit family creation.
