Arsh Associates is an architecture, interiors and design build firm based in Madurai, delivering residential, commercial, healthcare and interior projects from concept to execution.

We are looking for a responsible and creative Architect who can independently handle architectural design, drawings, coordination and site-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design

Develop concepts, plans, elevations, sections and detailed architectural designs. Prepare design options based on client requirements, site conditions and budget.

Develop projects from conceptual stage through working drawings and execution.

Maintain design quality, functionality and architectural detailing.

1. Working Drawings & Documentation

Prepare detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD. Develop plans, elevations, sections, door/window details and construction details.

Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, plumbing and other consultants.

Prepare BOQ/quantity related information whenever required.

Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.

1. 3D Visualization

Develop basic 3D models using SketchUp. Prepare realistic presentations/renders using Lumion, D5, Enscape or similar software.

Prepare material, colour and finish presentations for clients.

1. Site Coordination

Regularly visit project sites and monitor architectural execution. Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, vendors and workers.

Check whether construction is being executed according to approved drawings and specifications.

Identify discrepancies and coordinate necessary corrections.

Prepare site instructions and resolve drawing-related site issues.

1. Client Coordination

Attend client meetings and understand design requirements. Present plans, elevations, materials and design options clearly.

Coordinate revisions based on client requirements.





Maintain professional communication with clients.

1. Project Coordination

Coordinate with the Principal Architect and project team. Track drawing requirements and project deadlines.

Ensure drawings are issued to site on time.

Coordinate between design office and construction sites.

Required Skills

AutoCAD – Excellent

SketchUp – Good

Knowledge of Lumion / D5 / Enscape – preferred

Good understanding of residential construction and architectural detailing.

Knowledge of materials, finishes and construction methods.

Ability to read and understand structural and MEP drawings.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned projects.

Preferred Qualifications

B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture / equivalent qualification.

1–5 years of relevant experience preferred.

Experience in residential architecture and construction is an advantage.

Candidates with strong practical site knowledge will be preferred.
