Role & responsibilities

- Manage procurement of MMS steel, Solar Tracker systems, structural steel,GI/HDG/Galvalume/ZAM materials and related components.
- Handle the complete procurement cycle from PR/RFQ to commercial evaluation, negotiation, PO placement and delivery follow-up.
- Develop and maintain a robust vendor base for steel and MMS and solar Tracker suppliers.
- Track HRC, Zinc, Galvalume, steel plate and other relevant commodity price movements and provide inputs for procurement.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, QA/QC, Finance, Stores and Logistics for procurement and delivery requirements.
- Monitor PO execution, production status, inspections, dispatches and material deliveries.

Preferred candidate profile

- 3 to 5 years of relevant core procurement experience, preferably in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy.
- Hands-on experience in MMS / Tracker systems procurement only.
- Strong knowledge of steel procurement, HRC, structural steel, Galvalume, HDG/GI and ZAM.
- Working knowledge of SAP/ERP and MS Excel.

Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical or MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain/Procurement will be preferred.
